Leaf impression

The students of std 6th were told to make leaf impressions on paper. This is the old leaf press activity, this activity was used to demonstrate the different parts of a leaf like lamina, mid rib, veins, petiole.

Science Exhibition

Science Exhibition was held at Holy Rosary Convent High School, on 28 and 29th September 2016. It was organised with a view to encourage and inculcate a scientific temper amongst students. The students showcase their talents in various forms.

Nature walk

Nature walk is an awareness which stimulates a natural curiosity, a love of learning and initiates a very positive and long lasting personal connection to thenatural environment.

Herbarium

The collection of different types of leaves with various sizes and shapes was done by the students of std 7th. The specimens were further processed to prepare a herbarium.

Wallpaper competition on "Anti tobacco" and Anti tobacco rally

Anti tobacco wallpaper competition was organised to make students aware about the different health complications due to chewing of tobacco.

 Anti Tobacco Rally was organised to bring out the behavioral changes towards stopping tobacco use among those who are using tobacco and also to help reach message of  "SAY NO TO TOBACCO" to home, neighbourhood and the community.

Observation of butterfly specimens

Butterflies are useful specimens for teaching children about insects. It gives students an opportunity to observe how different kinds of butterflies vary in wing pattern and colour.
